Ages 4–15
Jiu-Jitsu That
Changes Kids.
Not just a sport. A proven path to confidence, focus, and resilience — for children ages 4 to 15 in Frisco, TX. Safe, structured, and genuinely fun.
Your Child Will Grow
Every Single Class.
Most parents come to us looking for something more than just a sport. They want their child to listen better, try harder, handle frustration, and believe in themselves, especially when things get difficult.
That’s exactly what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu does.
BJJ is a ground-based martial art that teaches children how to solve problems under pressure using technique rather than size or aggression. In every class, kids face small challenges, a new position, a partner who’s bigger, a drill they haven’t mastered yet. Learning to stay calm, think through it, and keep going builds a mindset that carries directly into school, friendships, and life.
At 4KBJJ Frisco, every class is designed with your child’s development in mind, not just their belt rank. Our coaches are experienced, patient, and genuinely invested in every kid on the mat.

"Jiu-Jitsu doesn't just teach your child how to defend themselves. It teaches them who they are when things get hard."
The Kids
Belt System
One of the most powerful motivators in BJJ is the belt system. Unlike school grades — which are invisible to children — a new belt or stripe is a visible, tangible reward that a child has to earn through consistent effort and demonstrated skill.
At 4KBJJ, we use a kids-specific belt progression that gives children frequent milestones to work toward. Stripes are added to each belt as skills develop, keeping kids engaged and motivated between belt promotions.
Promotions are awarded by coaches — not purchased. This makes each belt meaningful. When your child earns a new stripe, they know they earned it. That’s what makes it powerful.
Kids Belt Progression
Each belt has 4 stripe stages. Average time to first belt promotion: 4–6 months of consistent training.
Why Belts Matter for Kids
The belt system teaches children that effort + time = results. There are no shortcuts. You can’t buy a belt. You can’t talk your way into one. This is a lesson most children desperately need — and one they’ll carry for life.
From Kids to Adult Program
Teens who reach the green belt level or turn 16 can transition directly into our Adult program, keeping all their progress and stepping into a new level of training with peers who respect the work they’ve put in.
